Cold

It's way to cold to be alive. Our heating has been broken for nearly 2 weeks. On the plus side though I have got a new laptop. It's a Toshiba which anybody within 2 miles will see from the giant metallic log scrawled across the back. It's nice and fast but as this is my first time with vista I am already discover what a terrible operating system it is. It is beautiful (owed in large part to apple :P) but I doesn't like installing things and likes to take it's time think alot.

Hopefully get CS3 up and running soon. Using my ipod to keep my graphic design folders in order. Bad idea? Can't wait to have it all they way I like it. GEEK!

Even more geeky is the study session I'm having this eve, although the addition of wine and a tasty meal will help no end.

I think thats it for today. Haven't done any design in the lat few days. To busy doing other stuff but from Saturday everything should start jumping up a notch. Including, hopefully, the completion of my web site. Then I can start on other peoples.

Hello Mach 2

Morning. Just got back from uni and some very interesting debates :) I've been quite active so far this week and it looks like there is going to be little or no let up which is nice.

What do you think of the blog look? I've found that although I am without a quality laptop at present I can mess quite happily with my blog and use it as a kind of live test for the rest of the site. I'm pretty much there with the design just mulling over some navigation issues.

What else? Hmmmm. Ok New Slang tonight. We'll be interviewing 'Those Freeloaders' so if anybody is actually reading this why not stalk me more and check out 'lsrfm.com' between 6 and 8. There will be a new blog for New Slang coming soon.

Sunday, Sunday

3 hours through my 12 hour shift an things are going ok (touch wood). The Internet was down but I've managed to borrow a laptop from the library. It will literally save my sanity.

In all truth Jobs (i.e. non design based) can send me a little funny. Whats even stranger though is that 2 weeks ago I was struggling for any job and now 3 fall into my lap. Very confusing.

I have also really got to think about where to take my MA essays. I want to do a kind of running theme for these last three. Concentrating on race etc but on one (or one per essay) topic. I have thought about maybe concentrating my focus on the effect that Britain's colonial history has on modern Leeds, but I'm not sure if this is a bit vague. Also whilst I'm sure I could do the one essay what about the second and my 15,000 word dissertation.

arrrrggggg. I will start writing it soon though. I have too.

New site coming along

Here is the 4th or 5th, well latest design for the site. Let me know what you think.

New Slang Poster

Saturday, Saturday

Working at the law school tomorrow so today is the first day that I have actually felt that I can relax (guilt free). Busy week coming, also starting at the playhouse on Wednesday and Uni on Tuesday. STill I'm sure I feel better. Maybe get a new laptop too :)

Still toiling of the re-design of my website. It's had around 10 phases now, Getting Becca to use her marketing to write me some copy too.

Nearly finnished the generic 'New Slang' poster (which I'll post later today), thinking of using the same header to design their blog.

Molakoe Intro Page

Here it is:

New Day

I hope today is finally the day that the website will have a complete design. I have decided that I need to finalise as I could literally spend the rest of my life designing something new for it.

I've created a cool looking intro page which I'll post later today. If anyone ever rads this feel free to let me know what you think.

1000 things to do

So many things to do that it seems that I feel like just sleeping and ignoring the lot.

I'm trying to re-design the site but finding that I'm the worst person to design for.
I did create some new promotions for New Slang though.

I'm going to try the old break it down in to small parts method but I'm not the most positive person today (if you havn't guessed :) ).

Hello

Thought I would try this blogging lark. Only a few years behind the trend as usual.
